Experimental and Statistical Investigations on Alccofine Based Ternary Blended High-performance Concrete

This paper investigates the potential benefits of Ternary blended High-performance concrete containing Silica fume (SF) and Alccofine (AL) as partial cement replacements. The experimental program contains a total 14 mixes with water to binder ratio 0.4 varying percentages (0-20%) both binary ternary blended. Fresh hardened properties were evaluated based on slump, compressive strength, flexural split tensile strength absorption tests. SF AL increased by 14-27% 26-43% compared reference mix. Rise in early development for all is attributed presence highly reactive alccofine. Higher replacement more than 10% led steady decrease due dilution effect, whereas silica fume, was gradual beyond 15% replacement. Denser particle packing reduced mixes. A mix 5% showed 65.7% reduction Synergy assessment done mixes, peak result obtained mixture AL. Based data, empirical models developed existing codes earlier researches. Empirical proposed this study have least Integral Absolute Error (IAE) 0.47% 1.55% predicting concrete.
